General Info
- Bonuses: 7.5% bonus to Remote Sensor Dampener effectiveness and 10% reduction to Remote Sensor Dampeners' capacitor need.
The Maulus is an excellent electronic warfare platform. With it's bonus to sensor dampeners, many ships will be dead before they can establish a target lock. When fitting a Maulus, remember that you are not a DPS ship, your fits should focus on maximizing your dampening ability.
Remember to bring both types of scripts as you may be directed to change them by the FC or EWO.
Although we show the Maulus fit with railguns, you can actually fit pretty much whatever you want in your high slots. Remember your primary role is to damp the targets. If you do fit guns, be sure to carry a small amount of both short and long range ammo.

This is a suggested T1 fit; it does require Electronics Upgrades I. With the afterburner and guns not running, this fit is cap stable. With this fit, you can target at 83km and your tracking disruptors will have an optimal range of 66km plus 60km falloff, assuming just the base recommended skills.

This is a suggested T2 fit, which is downright wicked. Not only is it cap stable with everything on, you can target out to 132km, and your dampenders have an optimal of 76km (plus falloff of 90km)! Alternatively, you can drop one of the Dispersion rigs for a Small Ionic Field Projector I rig, resulting in a targeting range of over 165km, although your dampener's optimal will drop down to 65km, you'll still have a falloff of 90km.

Alumni Only: Unlike many of our other suggested fits, we don't have an Alumni-specific recommended fit for the Maulus. The T2 fit listed above is ridiculously effective, and quite recommended. Alumni are welcome to drop the afterburner for a microwarpdrive, although you will lose cap stability (cap will last around 2.5 minutes with everything on).
