- a setup that makes use of active tanking modules, these modules use capacitor to repair or decrease damage received by a ship

- process of killing biggest rats in the spawn and leaving one small rat behind so that it may "call for reinforcements" i.e. induce spawning of bigger rats again such that the spawn is restored, chaining is done to preserve all the good spawns in system and maximize ISK/hour income from ratting but it decreases chances of getting faction or officer spawn

- energized adaptive nano membrane, low-slot passive module that increases armor resistances to all damage types by about 15-20%
- ECCM
- electronic counter counter measures, refers to modules designed to counter effects of ECM
- ECM
- electronic counter measures, ECM modules break lock of target ship and make it unable to target anything for duration of their cycle time
- Effective Hitpoints
- total amount of hit points of a ship in shield, armor, and hull, taking its resistances into account
- Escrow
- old trading system that has been replaced by contracts in Revelations expansion
- EWO
- electronic warfare officer, someone who coordinates the electronic warfare wing of a fleet
