Introduction

In order to take advantage of AGONY tactics, a fleet needs to be organized and disciplined. This seminar describes the basic organization, duties and responsibilities of fleet pilots. The seminar will also demonstrate the discipline, and in particular communications discipline, vital to an effective fleet. Possibly the most important element of an AGONY Fleet is leadership. While every pilot can be a leader, only one can be the Fleet Commander (FC) focussing the combat power of an AGONY Fleet on the enemy.

The two main goals of this seminar is to teach the basics of being both an effective team member/FC as well as encouraging pilots to become active FCs. The discussion topics include AGONY Fleet standard operating procedures, preparing to lead a fleet, deployment of scouts/skirmishers and basic tactics. A one hour theory and discussion is followed by attendees participating in a gang taking turns leading their team through hostile space.
