Certification Content

1. Navigation
   1. Explain why an interceptor pilot should never use approach except when bumping and what the proper procedure is for approaching targets.
   2. Explain why you shouldn't sit motionless whether on a gate or station when theres an enemy carrier, battleship, or other combat ship nearby.
   3. Demonstrate that you can escape a situation where you jump into a system with a large camp with distance webbing.
   4. Demonstrate a TAM drop on a target.
   5. Demonstrate that you can "manually" orbit a group of 3 ships (medium to heavy) for 30 seconds without getting in web range of any of them but while keeping your point on the primary.
   6. Demonstrate how you can use manual flying to escape another (faster) interceptor who is tackling you.
2. Obtain the Interceptor Fishing certification.
3. Tactics
   1. Explain why Fishing works and how you can avoid being caught or kill the fisher.
   2. Explain the benefits of the smaller tackling interceptors and the uses of the larger versus smaller interceptors.
   3. Explain the dangers of tackling the various recon ships as well as battleships.
   4. Explain the ins and outs of fitting interceptors and answer your evaluator's questions about these fittings.
4. Explain what a bubble trap is and how to avoid it.
