Certification Content

  1. General
    1. Explain what ships are suitable for Skirmishing and Scouting and why.
    2. Explain what modules are needed to be able to be a Skirmisher.
    3. Describe the difference between a covops scout and a skirmisher.
  2. Navigation
    1. Explain your initial actions when entering a system.
    2. Explain what a bubble trap is and how to avoid it.
    3. Explain what options you have when entering a system with a bubble on the gate.
      1. Explain why and when to take each option
    4. Explain what actions you take when initial system scan turns up empty.
  3. Tactical
    1. Explain which items should be on the Skimishers overview and why.
    2. Demonstrate that you can scan down the evaluator and put a point on him within 3 minutes.
    3. Explain when should you keep moving, and when to dedicate more time to finding a target
    4. Report to your Evaluator how you would report a gate camp you just jumped into, and what steps to take to ensure an accurate report.
  4. Communications
    1. Explain what should and shouldn't be reported to your FC when you've found a potential target
    2. Explain the proper procedure for calling a warp-in when you've tackled a target
    3. Explain when you should jump back to the system where the gang is engaged.
